Even when you’re excited about moving to your new apartment or house, not too many people look forward to the actual moving process. It’s a lot like a vacation in that way. People love going on vacation but hate dealing with the travel aspect. Luckily, you can outsource a lot of the moving tasks to moving companies like NJ Great Movers! It’s because we provide a quality experience at an affordable price. From the moment you reach out to us we do our best to create a plan that works for your needs and budget. We’re also here to answer any questions you might have about the process.

Check out our website and look up our Department of Transportation number on the DOT website to make sure we’re legitimate. If you like what we have to offer, reach out to us with information such as:
Moving date
How much you’re moving
Current and new address
Once we get that from you, one of our customer service representatives will reach out to you directly to set up a virtual or in-person walk through of your home. This is imperative as it gives us a better idea of what kind of help you need as well as whether you live in an apartment building and need a certificate of insurance, if our movers will have to be going up and down flights of stairs, and so on. The more information we have, the more accurate our estimate will be.
Our team can handle everything moving related and we offer a wide range of add-on services to make your move easier. This includes:
Storage
Packing/Unpacking
Plastic bin rentals
Moving supplies
All of our services are customizable and we are always happy to discuss pricing to see how we might be able to fit one or more of these services in your budget. For example, we offer both full and partial packing services. If you have the money, a full service packing means we do everything for you including labeling so you don’t need to lift a finger. However, if that’s not in your budget, we also provide partial packing and you can choose what rooms, areas, or items we pack. Similarly, you can purchase package deals for moving supplies for a small apartment or three-bedroom house or you can simply buy single boxes from us. If you need a service that isn’t listed let us know what you need. As long as it is moving related, we will try to help.
After we’ve worked together to create your moving plan, we’ll send over the final estimate to you which will include any additional services and all related fees. Everything will be listed out for you in an easy to read format, but if you have questions, we’re here to answer them. We’ll also handle things like providing the certificate of insurance to landlords if you’re moving to or from a building that requires it, reserve the elevators for the day of the move, and handle all of the parking. A few days before your move, we’ll give you information on when our crew will arrive and will also be in touch on the day of. Should there be any delays, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
All of our trucks are equipped with GPS so you can easily call us up to check on the location of the truck at any time. Our crew will be in touch with you should there be any delays, but if you don’t hear anything from them and they haven’t arrived at the appointed time, call up our customer service line and we’ll check for you. Once they have arrived, they will quickly load up the truck and head over to your new home where they will unload.
