We take extra care in packing and wrapping your belongings so nothing gets damaged. Our commercial moving crew knows exactly how to maneuver large and bulky equipment through tight spaces. Of course, we take extra precautions by putting up cardboard and mattress pads along the walls so we don’t leave any scuffs or scratches in the building. If something does happen to your current or new building, we are insured so we will work with the building for reimbursement.

We generally perform commercial moves on the weekends or after office hours as we don’t want to disrupt your business. Let us know what you prefer and we’ll work around your schedule. In some cases, buildings might not allow weekend moves so make sure to check on the timing before locking in the move date.

Yes, we have been in the commercial moving industry for years and we’ve moved everything you can imagine. As a small business ourselves, we know how important every piece of equipment is so we take great pains in making sure everything is properly wrapped and moved. We will work closely with your IT and operations group to make sure we don’t miss anything. Common office equipment we’ve moved includes:

Ask for the NJ Public Movers license number, which must appear on your estimate. For interstate moves, verify the USDOT number. Request proof of insurance too.

A licensed NJ mover gives you legal protection an unlicensed one cannot. The state sets insurance minimums, contract standards, and a claims process, and advertising without a license is a crime. If something breaks, you have a real path to compensation instead of a disconnected phone number.

Yes, you or someone on your behalf (provide their name and contact information to us before the move) needs to be there to meet the foreman and go over the details. They will also need to be there at the end of the move to look over the final bill and sign off on payment.

Absolutely! We provide both local and long distance art moving. Let us know your plans when you reach out and we’ll make sure we bring the appropriate tools and materials.

We will keep you updated on the status of your move on a daily basis. We also have advanced tracking technology on our truck and you can use an app to see where the truck is at all times if we are not available to take your call.

Moving requires a lot of planning and doubly so for cross-country moves. Before you hire a moving company, make sure they are licensed by the US Department of Transportation and look up any positive and negative reviews on the company. Once you’ve found the right company makes sure to do the following:

• Create an inventory of everything you plan on moving and organize it into a spreadsheet. Send this over to the movers.
• Set aside essential items you will need immediately when you move so you aren’t waiting days for them to arrive. This includes things like toiletries, bedding, a week’s worth of clothes, important documents, etc.
• Label all your boxes not just with the room but with the items that are in each box
• Double-check the sturdiness of the boxes and make sure fragile items have appropriate packaging to prevent breakage.

We sure do! Just make sure to let us know in advance so we can get the appropriately sized truck.

Of course! We help with all sorts of moves, even furniture delivery and/or removal. Let us know where you want us to pick it up and drop it off and we’ll do it for you.

We won’t move your plants in our truck as we can’t guarantee that it won’t get jostled. As such, make sure you keep all your plants, pets, and kids in your car.

Packing yourself is definitely the cheaper route, but it is time consuming. Luckily, we do offer packing services which are an additional charge on top of our basic moving service. We offer full or partial packing.

Yes, we can certainly dispose of an unwanted piano if you no longer need it. Just make a note of that when you call us so we don’t accidentally move it into your new place!

No. While we do our best to avoid jostling a piano too much, chances are it will be out of tune by the time it arrives in your new home. You will need to hire tuners to come and do it for you.

If you are moving a piano, you should invest either in moving insurance or full protection valuation directly from us. You will then need to list the piano as a high value item in order to receive appropriate compensation for damages. If your piano is damaged, take a picture and submit a claim as soon as possible.

We do not handle moving insurance. Instead, we can offer valuation protection. In this case, we suggest opting for the full valuation protection, so that if your pool table does get damaged, we will be required to provide some form of compensation, whether that’s paying for the repairs, finding a replacement, or providing money back.

No! We don’t charge extra fees for bulky items. Everything is calculated either our estimate so there are no hidden fees.

Yes, we can absolutely help move a single large item for you. Let us know what you need and we’ll help out.

Your biggest cost besides hiring movers will vary but for most it’s buying boxes and packing supplies and, after the move, redecorating and buying new furniture.

Yes, you should take extra care when packing items that might be affected by cold temperatures and the snow. Add an extra layer of protection with a blanket or put these items in a weatherproof box.

You don’t need to. When you move with us, all of your belongings are protected by our free limited valuation protection, which pays out $0.60/pound per item. However, if you have a lot of delicate, high-value items, moving insurance might be a better option, as you will be able to get reimbursed if something is damaged or lost.

We sure are! We are 100% licensed and insured and registered with both the federal and state government. You can find our department of transportation number on the site and look us up.

It applies to the move itself. Packing, materials, and storage can be added to the same booking, and your consultant will walk your friend through those costs clearly.

The referral needs to come in before they receive a quote or book. Send their details as early as you can, ideally as soon as you hear they are moving.

The referral discount applies to the standard quote on its own and cannot be stacked with other active offers. Your consultant will always apply whichever discount saves your friend more.

Please give us a call a week before you need your things back and we’ll schedule a date and time for us to drop off your items.

You can absolutely store only a few boxes or even pieces of furniture. Just let us know exactly what items you plan on storing so we don’t accidentally take the wrong thing.
