Easy to Understand Flat Rate Prices
Reading a moving estimate can be a daunting task, especially if you’re working with less than professional companies. There will be a lot of terminology you might not be familiar with making it easy for less than upright movers to take advantage of you. Of course, when you work with us, we’ll break down all of the charges that you see on the estimate and answer any questions you might have.
When it comes to prices, we offer a flat hourly rate for our local moves and flat rate prices for long-distance moves. You might be wondering what the difference is. Essentially, for local moves you will be charged per hour of work we do. That includes travel to and from our office to your old and new home. Our estimate for local moves will include the number of hours we expect the move to take. In general, we can get most local moves done in 4-8 hours.
On the other hand, flat rate prices are just that, fixed prices based on the volume and weight of your belongings as well as the distance between your two homes. So long as you provide an accurate inventory of everything you are bringing with you, the total you see in the estimate will be what you see on your final bill. Of course, if you end up adding a box or two, this will change the flat rate, so make sure you plan out exactly what you plan on bringing or not.

No Hidden Fees, Ever
When you get an estimate from us, we list out every single fee. That includes any additional services you decide to include like packing, storage, packing materials, and plastic bin rentals. Even if you decide not to hire us, it’s important to understand the moving terms you’ll likely see on your estimate including:
- Peak season rate – some moving companies charge extra if you move during peak moving season which is April through September
- Bulky Article charge – this may apply to large items like pool tables, hot tubs, or pianos
- Material charge – this is included in the estimate to account for any unpacked or improperly packed items. Remember, everything needs to be packed into boxes. If there are any items not in boxes when the movers arrive, they will have to pack them. Should you not need any boxes, this will be removed from your final bill.
The best way to avoid surprise charges from any moving company is to be as detailed as possible when you discuss your moving plan. Provide a complete inventory and set up a time to do an in-person or virtual tour of your home. And always remember to ask questions if you’re unsure of what a term means.

We are one of the most affordable moving companies in the NJ market. Of course, you don’t have to take our word for it! Make sure to do your own research and get quotes from at least three or four other companies!
Besides loading and unloading your things, we also provide a few free services with our basic move:
- Basic disassembly and reassembly of furniture
- Dismounting your TV
- Uninstalling window air conditioner units
- Three free wardrobe box rentals
And of course we provide all of our own tools and supplies. We will wrap up all your furniture with padded blankets to prevent damage to your furniture and house. And of course, we’ll take the time to put down plastic sheets on the floor and foam pads on the wall for additional protection.

We’re Moving Experts
Our company started back in 2011 and since then we’ve taken on a variety of challenges. Because of the demands of our job, every new employee we bring on goes through an intense training period before they even go on their first move. Not only do we want to make sure they know the ins and outs of the company, we want to make sure they know our standard procedures for packing, moving, and more. And, of course, that they are up-to-date on the latest health and safety guidelines. The training doesn’t stop there. We provide continuous training support for all of our moving crew on a weekly basis so they are always current on the latest regulations.
Of course, all the training in the world doesn’t beat out real world experience. Luckily, our movers already come with years of experience under their belt. They all know how to properly load and unload their moving vans to ensure your fragile items don’t get damaged in transit. And if you have large/bulky items like pianos, hot tubs, pool tables, etc. we’ve got you covered. Our movers know exactly how to get these items moved safely and without a scratch.

Additional Services to Your NJ Flat Rate Move
Sometimes you need more than just the basics. That’s why we offer a selection of services that you can add-on to make your NJ move easier. Of course, all of these will increase the final cost of your bill, but we offer flexibility in our service so you can still take advantage of what we have to offer. Some of our most popular services include:
- Packing and unpacking – Not everyone has the time or patience for packing. If you have some wiggle room in your budget, why not hire us to do the hard work for you? Even if you can’t afford our full packing service, you can hire us for partial packing to focus on certain rooms or areas.
- Storage – Whether you need to store your things for a few weeks or months, we can keep your things safe in your climate-controlled and secure storage units. Once you’re ready, give us a call and we’ll bring your boxes to your new house.
- Moving supplies – Sure, you can buy boxes and moving supplies online, but you don’t know how good they are. Our boxes are movers approved as they are the same ones we would use if you hire us to pack up your things.
- Plastic bin rental – Sometimes, cardboard boxes aren’t the best option. If you’re worried about some of our items getting dusty or wet, then renting our plastic bins might be a good option. Not only are the dust and weather-proof, they’re also crush-proof! You can rent a single box or try one of our packages if you want to pack your entire house.
