What happens if something gets lost or damaged?

All our belongings are protected by our free limited valuation protection which pays out $0.60/pound per item. If you want more protected if high value items like electronics, your best bet is to have your parents spring for third-party moving insurance.

Do I need to create an inventory of my items for a small move?

We always ask for a detailed inventory of all the items you plan on moving, even if it’s just one or two things. That way, we can keep track and make sure nothing gets lost.

How do you protect my artwork during a move?

We offer only the best for our clients and that means providing museum-quality crating solutions for all of your artwork. This includes custom wooden crates, protective interior padding, shock-resistant packing materials, and, of course, careful handling by our movers

Are my art pieces insured during transit?

We do not provide moving insurance, however we do provide full protection valuation. You will need to claim any items that are of high value (worth over $100/pound). If something gets damaged we will do one of three things:

  • Offer to pay for the repair of an item
  • Find a replacement for the item
  • Offer compensation for the current value of the item

Unfortunately, we can only cover up to a certain amount so if you are looking for complete coverage you will need to pay for third party moving insurance.
