Moving to Cumberland
If you like the ocean then Cumberland County should definitely be a NJ location you consider moving to. Located along the Delaware Bay, the area has plenty of cute towns and locations to visit. Vineland is the most populous city in the region and, despite the name, does not have any wineries. Instead, it’s mostly known for its outdoor recreational activities. The area features 18 parks and recreational areas which have plenty of fields, courts, trails, and more. If you like fishing, you can head to Willow Oak Natural Area for some bass fishing.
If you want to partake in historical and cultural activities, Cumberland has plenty to offer. You can check out the Cumberland County Historical Society and view the exhibits and artifacts or go to the Bivalve Shipping Sheds to learn about the county’s maritime history. Besides that, you can go to the Landis Theater for some theater performances and music. For sports fans, you might want to check out the All Sports Museum.
There are plenty of other attractions to enjoy including a local drive-in theatre, a mall, a cute flea market, and a farmer’s market. If you want to have a nice day out with the family check out the Cohanzick Zoo, which is located within Bridgeton City Park.
